DEEP PURPLE Machine Head Vinyl LP
Label: Purple Records. Catalogue number: TPSA 7504 1972 UK.
Black Vinyl, 12" LP 33rpm. 1st press. 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' rim text at 11 O'clock,
'Made In Great Britain' on label at 6 O'clock. Run-off matrix- TPSA 7504 A - 1U / TPSA 7504 B - 1U.
If you take a look at my listings and feedback, you will see that I specialise in perfect or near-perfect records, because I don't like problems, and one man's "Minty" (whatever that means) is another persons "Just about OK". I am reluctantly listing imperfect records like this one, because I have accumulated that many, I am running out of space. I will grade it as honestly as I can, and if you're not happy when it arrives, simply contact me through ebay messages and I will arrange it's return and full refund.
Condition: Vinyl: VG+. Has a marks and hairlines but no significant scratches. Plays well (both sides play-tested), with remarkably good sound, nothing much in the way of background hiss 'n click except in the spaces between a couple of the tracks and the run-on/offs. One label has been mispressed slightly off-centre.
Condition: Sleeve: VG+. There are no stickers, writing, rips or major damage. There are minor edge creases and corner-wear. The sealed edge on the side of the gatefold which does not hold the disc has become unglued. Other than that, it's pretty good.
With the original printed lyric poster, which is undamaged and clean, but has indentations made by the record.

Record Grades: Mint (M) The record - should be in new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The Cover - should be in perfect condition along with any extra items. Excellent (Ex) The record - signs of having been played but displays minimal deterioration in sound quality. The Cover - may have slight wear or creasing. Very Good (Vg) The record - played many times. Surface marks and light scratches evident but no major deterioration of sound quality. The Cover - normal wear and tear without major defects. Good (G) The record - noticeable deterioration of sound quality due to playing. Some distortion/scratches. The Cover - suffering from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discolouration. Fair (F) The record - still just playable but with considerable surface noise and occasional jump. The Cover - may be torn, defaced or stained. Poor (P) The record - too scratched to play properly with bad surface noise. The Cover - badly damaged. Bad/Relic The record - unplayable or broken. Useful only as a collectors item. The Cover - disintegrating.
