Description
- This is an ORIGINAL 1972 PURPLE RECORDS UK 2 LP FIRST PRESSING OF THE 1972 album titled 'Made In Japan' from Deep Purple. It is Purple Records UK catalog number TPSP 352 (1E 192 93915-6), A1U/B1U stampers, laminated gatefold cover with grey inside color, with original stock inner sleeves; the previous owner has placed the record into nice clear thin plastic dust-free static-free inner sleeves.
Label rim text: The Gramophone Co Ltd.; later releases state: E.M.I. Records.
Records have a ridge on label edge, later pressings did not.

Condition of play surface of both records is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks; labels have a few light spindle marks indicating previous careful play. Condition of laminated gatefold cover is VG+ with a small 1-1/2" split in the middle of the top edge of the back gatefold, some ring and contact wear, a few slight wrinkles, and some wear along the edges and on the corners. This double 180 gram LP would be a nice addition to any Deep Purple record collection! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.
