Hi, I am Mike, a music collector for over 30 years now. You may notice I do not flood my Ebay site with large numbers of albums at one time: time does not allow it as I Play-Grade every record I offer (on a Rega 3 deck with Ortofon cartridge) - visuals alone do not always tell a true or full story - I will mention any defects or flaws no matter how small that I notice to be fair as possible to any interested collector. Every record I offer, whether it be a common or rare item deserves the same treatment as far as I am concerned and will be treated with the same respect. All the pictures I use for your guidance are taken with my digital camera or scanned - they are NOT improved, cleaned-up or made better looking than they are with camera trickery or enhancing with digital programmes. Cat Number: TPS 3512 Stereo.

Label and Condition: Purple, clean examples with only light spindle traces.

Country of Manufacture: Gt Britain

Rarity Factor: Moderate or less, but this is a nice clean copy that plays brilliantly.

Original Year of Release: 1972

Matrix Nos: A1-U, B1-U, A1-U and B1-U The words PORKY, DELTA PORK, PECKO and PECKIE are etched on to the run out grooves.

Album Information: For me the greatest live rock record ever. Recorded on the band’s Japanese tour of the early 70s, this album features seven long tracks of the very finest. Definitive versions of ‘Smoke on the Water’, ‘Child in Time’ and best of all the magnificent long version of ‘Space Truckin’ which occupies all side four. The classic Purple line-up this album was never bettered. Play this one loud and it almost feels like you are there. This copy on offer is a nice clean one, it looks and plays terrific - not by any means a rare record but one that plays this well will always be worth having in a serious collection - one to be enjoyed and that counts for me as much as rarity.

Cover Condition and Details: Excellent, gatefold, laminated front and back, printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The famous gold laminated cover, often unfortunately found peeling or badly creased because of the heavyweight vinyl inside. This is a nice solid cover and one of the best I’ve seen for a while.

Cover Lamination: Strong laminate with no lefting, peeling or dry areas, very little creasing either. A few light marks but still very shiny and very solid, no heavy indentations, couple of light one on bottom of back, but pretty minor.

Cover Front: Attractive and generally clean, the odd light mark or tiny blemish - all still looking very nice.

Cover Back: Similar to front, odd mark here and there.

Cover Gatefold Inner: Near perfect with bright rich colour.

Cover Edges: Top edges are near perfect and unworn. Faint rub traces on the bottom ones, entry edges are clean and sharp. The spine is magnificent: square and strong with all text pristine under the uncracked laminate. All four corners have little wear, way better than most seen. A fine all round cover that should please most collectors.

Vinyl Condition: Mint(-), all four sides are clean and shiny and show hardly any marks at all. Pressed on very heavy vinyl this is a fine double set. The play-grade revealed four very clean sides - I enjoyed this set again, it had been a while. The power and dynamics will not be approached on a CD - heavy music is best suited to vinyl. A magnificent power house of a record, for sheer live excitement little approaches this landmark set. The Japanese concerts are near legendary, recapture all the classics here - but please loud.

Europe: £4. This is covered up to £28 (45 Euros) insurance and would be sent 1st-class airmail. A recorded airmail service is now in place for Europe too: this means any item will be fully covered to its true value, No customs sticker is needed for Europe, so this is a worthwhile investment. This costs extra £3, the item is tracked and the item has to be signed for - I will use this service to Europe as standard for very expensive rare items e.g. records over £75.

USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and other Far Eastern countries etc: £5.50. This is covered up to £28 (43 US Dollars) insurance and would be sent 1st-class airmail. Please note I do not profit on postage (my packing standards are high and the package weighs a little more).

Extra insurance is available for non-UK items but bear in mind I have to state the true value of the item on the parcel and customs would be aware and you may well get charged import duties.

PLEASE NOTE: I will NOT use surface mail, its too slow, with a higher risk of loss and damage.

Overseas bidders please note conversion rates for Pounds to Dollars and Pounds to Euros will be charged at 1.65 to cover PayPal or cash conversions.

Mailing Details: All records are sent in plastic covers with the record taken out of the sleeve and sent in professional mailers with a minimum of TWO stiffners for extra protection. More expensive items are also inserted into a de-luxe heavy duty padded bag AS WELL to give that extra protection and three or four stiffners. I truly want ALL my items to arrive to their destination in the same condition they leave me.
