Complete with True 1st Press THICKLY Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold Sleeve and Mega Rare Original 1st Press Poster!!!  A Very Rare and Beautiful UK 1st Pressing in Stunning Condition EX+++/EX++ Throughout!!!

Continuing my series of very rare UK Harvest/Deep Purple 1st pressings, here is another gem from my own mostly Nr Mint personal collection (which I am selling off gradually to lessen the pain...) I have been collecting very rare vinyl for a long time now. As a collector, I have been very critical about the condition of the records I have chosen to buy over the years, and only selected the most pristine 1st pressings I have found.  My collection is therefore filled with not only the rarest UK 1st pressings, but also records of the highest grade quality condition, some of the best you will probably ever come across. Sadly, most now have to find new homes. As I said, I am very strict with my grading, so when I describe a record as Nr Mint - you can rest assured that it will be a true Nr Mint record (I never grade any records as Mint because Mint does not exist unless you own a time machine and go back and bag a job in a 1960's record pressing plant!) You are bidding on a very special auction here - a truly stunning  ORIGINAL Earliest  UK 1972 1st Pressing of this classic Deep Purple album on Harvest/Purple!!! What makes this record so MEGA RARE is that it is the TRUE UK 1st pressing pressed on Mega Thick & Chunky Vinyl with true 1U//1U 1st press matrix!!! What's more it is complete with it's Original 1st press Thickly laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve. Only the very 1st pressings had this sleeve, the laminate is super-thick, and easy to identify, especially when holding against a thinner laminated 2nd press sleeve!!!  Further, this rare record comes complete with its impossible rare Original 1st press Poster!!! These are massively rare and were only included with the very earliest 1st pressings, most of the latter 1st pressings DID NOT have this poster included - it is massively rare!!! It is is stunning condition throughout, see below for a full description. This is an absolutely essential record for any high grade psych collection - especially in this condition!!!

The original centre labels are in Nr Mint condition with NO writing or scribbles and just some wispy spindle lines.  The disc itself  has all the deep glass-like shine of a newly pressed record and easily grades as Excellent+ with just one or two very light non-sounding hairlines (these are invisible unless holding the record angled toward direct light and are simply caused by removing the record from the inner sleeve). The vinyl easily grades as Excellent+!!! The original thickly laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is superb condition!!! It retains all of its vibrant colours with no discolouration or yellowing. There are NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! It is nice and stiff with an Mint strong spine and perfectly legible spine text. The sleeve lies nice and FLAT.  Complete with original poly-lined windowed 'patents' inner sleeve in Mint- condition. The mega rare poster grades as Excellent with NO rips, tears, unwanted writing/scribbles and No nasty creases. The only fault I can find is a blue-tac spot in each corner where this poster was once displayed, there is no blue-tac residue however!!! This record would be an essential addition to any highest grade 1st press psych collection.  Don't miss this one!!!

Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...

Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.

We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed.
