All of my records That I'm selling are from my own Personal Collection that I have collected and cherished for over 45 years and which have been generally kept and looked after to the highest standard. All Records that I do offer will have NO Warps,Jumps, sticks, writing on covers or labels unless clearly stated in descriptions.
Vinyl Condition: EX to NM Visually the vinyl is in Exceptional and Unmarked Condition that has been stored away for most of its 37 years in a cupboard - This very 1st Press Vinyl at least has not been played to death and destruction like most – On appearance it looks Unplayed with NO needle mark scratches/groove wear or any other bad marks/blemishes that I can visually see or detect on inspection that will affect the Audio Playback - When examined on closer examination under a strong angled light it reveals nothing more than one or two very small faint light hairlines across surface and a few usual insignificant disc inner sleeve removal small faint wispy light lines here and there that absolutely doesn’t affect the virtually near perfect audio playback (this doesn't in anyway detract from the overall Near Mint condition on both sides) - The vinyl still retains all its original jet black shiny gloss mirror like sheen and lustre - It would be very hard these days to find a better vinyl copy of this very 1st Pressing that plays without any problems! - It’s a Superb and Exceptional Example!!!
Please Note: This record has been stored away and not touched or cleaned for most of it's 37 years it would obviously benefit from a professional clean before play as to reduce further any light static crackle that may be still present
AUDIO PLAYBACK ASSESSMENT: - SUPERB UNINTERRUPTED CRYSTAL CLEAR CLARITY AND POWER ON AUDIO PLAYBACK END TO END - Audio is Graded as Near Mint - This vinyl visually looks like its hardly been played that much and shows NO heavy marks or scratches and still looks an Amazing example - There are No major Clicks, pops, skips, jumps or repeats and shows No other annoying audio noise distortions during playback If I'm going to be Ultra Critical whilst listening through the playback you may get occasionally when the very quiet tracks begin to play or on the start of run ins and inbetween tracks and the very quieter elements of audio playback or if at all you may get some very light static crackle for a second or two and then it just fades away but absolutely nothing of any consequence on this 37 year old Classic that will spoil your overall enjoyment of this exceptional Iconic Classic Album - Overall its just a Fantastic listening Experience that comes from this near Perfect Dynamic very 1st Press Stereo Audio performance!!!
Labels Condition: NM Original early 1st Press Purple Labels that are still showing bright bold vivid Purple and White colours - Visually they both look very clean and unmarked in apperance - Very little evidence of any play wear - Under bright light shows one or two very faint light Spindle trails near the spindle hole area with No evidence of any wear around the spindle hole which still looks in Superb well cared for condition - Its very evident that it was probably only played between 2-3 times in total over its 37 year life span
Cover Condition: NM Original UK Garrod & Lofthouse Matt Picture Sleeve cover - This Clean Near Mint intact and Unmarked cover is still in Exceptional Pristine near Perfect condition and is a Fantastic example of a well preserved very clean looked after cover with virtually NO storage wear to see - That's overall totally Stunning with Superb straight edges and with excellent pointed corners - Original superb bold vivid colours is visually unblemished and looks Flawless - Very clean and shows barely any handling evidence that can be seen - on closer examination under strong light it was struggle to find any real noticable wear If I was going to be ultra critical I could just about detect a few very small traces of feint light edge surface creases (Absolutely not that noticeable ) One of the Best covers I've ever seen over the years that's not marked, torn, grubby, written on,or falling apart - It would be extremely difficult to find and improve on this very 1st Press cover!!!
Spine Condition: NM The matt finish Spine is still in Exceptional condition - Very straight clean and undamaged being in pristine and virtually perfect preserved condition - All written text still showing to be bold clear legible and perfectly worded as it was printed!!!
Inner Sleeve: NM The Original white record company Sleeve with 'PATENT NO. 1.125.555' & 'MADE IN ENGLAND' text is Totally intact and only shows evidence of only the usual ageing process of mild yellow tinges around the edges - Absolutely NO Tears,Splits,Ink Writing,Stickers or other Blemishes brown ageing tint discolour around the edges and light paper creases over its lifetime - Absolutely NO Tears,Splits,Ink Writing,Stickers or other Blemishes
The overall Brilliant Pristine condition of this Album is mainly due to the superb dry storage conditions and thick plastic cover protection on this LP Record over it's Lifetime!!!
Thanks for Looking and Happy Bidding!!!
