Description

Here we have a vinyl LP by the heavy rock Band, DEEP PURPLE.  Titled ;  "THE BOOK OF TALIESYN" (1968).  On the highly collectable HARVEST record label (the "Progressive" wing of EMI).   This is an EARLY PRESSING or, ISSUE on the LIME GREEN label with no boxed "EMI" logo on the labels.   This copy is fairly good (Graded at VERY GOOD- by me), so should still be well worth having.  
This is DEEP PURPLE's 2nd LP (the follow-up to "Shades Of Deep Purple") & their 1st on the (then) new EMI specialist, "Progressive" label, HARVEST. Of the (later) legendary line-up, this 5 piece featured RITCHIE BLACKMORE, JON LORD & IAN PAICE.   
HARVEST RECORDS : SHVL 751 .   

CONDITION:-      
                              This is a "MADE IN UK" issue.    
    VINYL :-                    Side A:-  Visually: VERY GOOD- (several noticeable surface marks & 1 scratch).                                   Play graded @ VERY GOOD- (mostly excellent, but quite a few clicks on track 3; no jumps).                                   Matrix :   A-1G    .                              Side B:-  Visually:  VERY GOOD (a couple of surface marks ).                                      Play graded @ VERY GOOD- (crackle at start of side + some clicks & pops; no jumps).                                   Matrix :   B-1G    .            
 GATEFOLD SLEEVE (Outer laminated) :-   VERY GOOD+. (mostly EXC., but some age wear).     SPINE :- VERY GOOD+ (all titles readable).
                                                                    OVERALL GRADED @ VERY GOOD- (quite good, but not a top copy).
