Description
Grades are just a general guide,and I feel they are inadequate to describe the variety of unique conditions found, so please read the detailed description below.
My records have all been stored unplayed for the last 25 years or so, under good indoors, smoke free conditions.
Vinyl VG. Plays very smoothly, with basically only very little background noise between tracks. There is ,however two 'chunk ' sounds at one point on 'Bloodsucker' that ,although they don't correspond to any visual blemishes, don't sound intended. Visually there are a number of obvious scratches, the worst of which I have tried to capture on film ( see photos). However , aside from a single 'pop' on 'Flight of the rat', I cannot discern any effect on play ,using my low-fi, but high tone heavy laptop.
Sleeve VG+. In lovely condition, even after 45 years. The glossy finish has only the slightest matting at the tops, primarily the rear ( see photos). The spine is too lovely to open the gatefold right up and risk spoiling The shaped inner sleeve has some (tea ?) stains.
