WELCOME TO MY AUCTION!!!

I have been a long time collector of Deep Purple and related bands. Today I am listing for auction one of the RAREST!! & NEAR IMPOSSIBLE!! to find 1st Press MONO Yellow & Black Parlophone label of one of the most sought after collectable records from the 60's. The very RARE!!!  'SHADES OF DEEP PURPLE'!!!!

IMPOSSIBLY hard to find as a Stereo release. But SERIOUSLY RARE as a Mono!!!  Very few of these were pressed and sold very poorly. Making this LP the RAREST!!  of all DEEP PURPLE LP's!!!  Simply, one of the RAREST Progressive/Psych LP's ever released. Not only that, this copy is in truly FANTASTIC condition!!!

This Ultra Rare Original 1968 UK 1st Press initially sold very few copies. LP's back then were very expensive for most people to purchase and resulted in a very short print run. These Ultra Rare copies a Extreamly hard to find!!  Near Impossible in this condition!!!  A Classic LP that needs to be in every DEEP PURPLE Collection but, Unfortunatley not all will own one!!!  These are so RARE that only a select few will even be able to see a copy let alone own one!!!  This is a must own copy for any collector of rare 60's / 70's vinyl!!!

ABOUT THE LP:

The labels are the classic 1st press Yellow and Black Parlophone. Both labels are in Excellent condition with almost no wear at all. NO TEARS, NO WRITING, NO STICKERS!!!  Very little spindle wear!!! which would suggest that this lp has had very little time spent on the turntable!!!  Almost flawless for a close to 40 year old record!!!  I would grade the both labels overall as Excellent!!!

The vinyl is Spectacular Original 1968 UK 1st Press Vinyl!!!  Bright , Clean and Shiny with only a few very light marks from being housed in a paper sleeve. This record visually looks FANTASTIC!!!  NO DEEP SCTRATCHES, NO BAD SCUFFS, NO CHIPS OR CRACKS!!!  Looks as if this had very little play time!!!  This is the original heavy stock vinyl with a very durable surface. These few very light paper scuffs from being taken in and out of the bag do not affect the play at all!!!

The audio is FANTASTIC!!!  Simply put, this sounds great with no hisses or pops!!!  All records from this era will have very low levels of static during the dead wax between tracks and in the run of grooves. This RARITY plays as if it was just purchased and played for the first time!!!  Most of the copies found today have been played to death and look the same. This is truley a RARE find!!  Overall i'll have to grade the vinyl at EXCELLENT!!!  I grade all my records very strictly and will never give any copy a mint grade. Even if the record is new!!! 

The sleeve is also in fantastic condition!!!  The original G & L Laminated flip back cover!!!  This copy also includes the very rare inner EMI bag!!   This cover has very few flaws. Only a couple very minor light creases to the front laninated sleeve and very light corner wear!!  NO SEAM SPLITS , NO TEARS , NO STICKERS!!  Flip back tabs are still intact with no delamination!!! Very minor wear to the opening!!!  A truley FANTASTIC AND RARE CONDITION!!  The only flaw to the cover is a small script on the back cover. Other than that, for a 40 year old LP, This is near to the best copy i've seen in 30+ yearsof collecting!!!  EXTREAMLY RARE IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND COPY!!!!
