Another from my personal collection of over 50,00 Uk albums that I have collected over a period of 45 years or more!
This is original 1st UK pressing of Def Leppard (Debut) studio album "On Through The Night" released in 1979 on the Vertigo Spaceship labels in the UK.  Originally purchased from new It has always been stored in a case with the vinyl removed from the cover and sleeve for protection. This is how I have always stored my records. Visually the vinyl looks unplayed in my opinion. I struggle to see any visible spidering around the spindle hole. No needle scratches or marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops just beautiful near perfect sound quality and fantastic bassey feel and separation only heard like this on the earliest pressings. Any static/crackle heard was isolated in between tracks to mention. Please listen to the recording in the player below. I would grade the audio at Near Mint throughout in my opinion. I don't think that you will find a more vibrant sounding vinyl! No loud constant Clicks, ticks or pops,  The Most vibrant copy that I have heard truly amazing!
This is complete with the original picture/ lyric insert record sleeve and  1st UK Press printed, original ist issue un laminated cover is also in very near mint condition throughout, minor creasing to mention only.
I think that you would struggle to find a better copy of this cover in my opinion!
For me the audio quality has always been my prime interest with vinyl. Audio graded at Near Mint in my opinion!  Early 1st UK pressing!

On Through the Night is the debut studio album by the English heavy metal band Def Leppard, released on 14 March 1980.

The album was produced by Tom Allom. It charted at No. 15 on the UK Albums Chart[1] and No. 51 on the Billboard 200.

The album features re-recorded versions of "Rocks Off" and "Overture", tracks from the band's original independently released EP, The Def Leppard E.P.

Other tracks are re-recorded versions of early demos, some of which later appeared on the 2020 box set The Early Years 79–81.

The album was certified gold by the RIAA on 18 November 1983 and platinum on 9 May 1989.

"Wasted", "Hello America" and "Rock Brigade" were released as singles. However, the version of "Wasted" that appears on the single is a different recording from that of the LP, as is its B-side,
"Hello America".

The Vinyl
On visual inspection this looks almost as un played in my opinion. I find it hard to even see a blemish on the playing surface, any that could possibly be seen angled to the light would be sleeve removal scuffs only. The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warping. Importantly, there are no visual marks that would cause any loud constant clicks/ticks or pops during the play of this vinyl.

The Audio Quality
I have play tested the vinyl two times on two different turntables/systems at very loud volume prior to this listing. Once for you to hear the complete album. (Can be heard in the player above)
The moment that the needle hits the playing surface it is obvious to me that this has barely ever been played at all, in fact I don't think that I had played this when I originally purchased this.. Crystal clear and vibrant stunning top audio throughout the play of this vinyl. It is noted that isolated static crackle/ticks was heard in between some tracks or intros only.   I would grade the audio at Near Mint! The Most Vibrant Sounding copy that you could find!

Please note! Allowances must be made for these late seventies vertigo pressings. They are notorious for static ticks/crackle in quieter places. I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for very light isolated static type crackle/ticks that might be noticed in quieter places, but not consistent through out the audio. Debrit was noted on the playing surface after play. A constant clean before each play is recommended because this vinyl has been stored in a case laying dormant for over 30 years. A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static ticks/ crackle. constant cleaning before each play will reduce this and enhance the audio quality.

The Labels
These are the original 1st UK issue Vertigo Spaceship labels. I can't see any spider marks even when angled to the light,  This has only ever been played two times ever by me only!. There is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round.

The Record Sleeve
This is the original 1st issue thick card picture/lyric record sleeve. This is straight and clean.  There are no edge splits or tears. The vinyl is always stored separately from the vinyl. This is how I have always stored my records.

The Cover
This is the original 1st UK issue glossy Un laminated cover. Printed in the UK. (no barcode) Super clean and straight. No nasty creases to report and any storage wear is only really noticed if looked for in my opinion. (Very light crease noted front near spine but not noticed unless looked for in my opinion.  The spine has absolutely no rubbing and in lovely and square. Rich and very vibrant colours. I would grade this cover at least excellent plus to Near Mint in my opinion, a real beauty.
