Description

A rare collection of Del Shannon's original 1st 4 mono lps released in the United Kingdom, 'Runaway', 'Hats Off To Del Shannon' and 'Little Town Flirt' all on the London label and 'Handy Man' on the Stateside label.

I would grade the records as very good condition under the Record Collector grading system, 'Handy Man' is probably nearer an excellent grade. I've played them all through and there is good sound quality. They are records that have been played over the years and some are nearly 60 years old now, as they date from the late 1950's and early 1960's, so there are some visual light marks, the only feelable mark came on the 'Runaround Sue' track on 'Little Town Flirt' though as with everything else, it played without any jumps or skips.

Please have a look at and enlarge my photos which form part of the description. The covers show some signs of age with visible marking from a spillage near the opening of the 'Runaway' cover, creasing on some of the laminate covers and a good deal of browning on the back of the earliest 3 lps. The 'Handy Man' cover is very nice.

So whilst not mint, a very decent collection for their age.
