Description
CARLOS GARDEL (1890 - 1935) was the dashing Argentinian who became the world-famous face of Tango music. He was by far the most prominent purveyor of Tango, exporting it to the entire planet. His fame, based on his tremendous baritone voice and movie-star good looks, was further enhanced by his sudden death in a plane crash in 1935. Nothing like premature death to boost a career!

These records come from my private collection, which I have been accumulating since 1967, and now am downsizing!
