BUANA THE RAINBOW / SIGNORE ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by DELIRIUM. Original Italian pressing on the FONIT label (SPF 31313), from 1975. Super obscure, Italian prog single that features the amazingly funky and evil sounding BUANA THE RAINBOW theme. Heavy fender rhodes and basslines / demonic synthesizer / relentless, symphonic prog rhythms / horror film inspired vocal hooks / drum breakdowns and Sorgini Library style congas breaks with dub echo FX. Great for DJs. Booming production sound with that Goblin / Simonetti / Fabio Frizzi zombie funk sound :) The SIGNORE side is classic Italian prog with moody fender rhodes and vocals / lo-fi beats / gothic hammond and operatic outro. Nice picture sleeve showing the cult group too. Rare 45!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall with a few light hairlines from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises to intro of 'Signore' side / one soft pop to intro of 'Buana..' side. Taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. The picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition overall with a little creasing and light wear from storage. Archive number in pen to both sides of sleeve. A few small wear marks to some corners and edges. 1st scan image is of back sleeve (exact same artwork to both sides, except for track title). Rare 45!!!
