"Getting Mighty Close" is excellent uptempo dancefloor Chicago group Northern Soul.  Published by Mikaru Music.  Written by S Lefco.

"Princess Of My Dreams"  is quintessential Chicago sweet soul.  Published by Mikaru Music.  Written by T. Washington.

This record is rare.  Very rare.  I posted it on soul source a while back and most of the gurus had not seen it before and were quite interested.  Even Chicago guys.  The record features a raw Chicago group sound, fast on one side and slow on the other.  Excellent record!

Unfortunately, this record is in POOR condition due mostly to two pressing defect bubbles that cause one skip and some thwumps on the "Getting Mighty Close" side and some thwumps on the "Princess" side.  Fortunately, the skip happens during a vocal intro before things get going on the "Getting" side.  The pressing defects may help explain this record's rarity.
