Often overlooked, this is an excellent psych hard rock album.  These guys were originally known as The Bubble Puppy out of South Texas and in 1969, they had a MAJOR psychedelic hit with "Hot Smoke & Sassafras" which John Lennon tried to work a deal with the band's regional International Artists label to release it on the Beatles' Apple label, sadly to no avail (Int'l Artists refused to let the Bubble Puppy out  of their contract.

Excellent songs, playing, singing, arranging and production.  By thebn they were homing out of Austin, Texas.
