This is one of the few remaining brand new, original copies of the Demon Pact single on (UK) Slime performing "Escape" and "Raiders". It is being sold by the person responsible for issuing the single in 1981, and who remains the copyright holder for all Demon Pact recordings and compositions (and who wrote that long sleeve note for the legal High Roller album by Demon Pact, "Released From Hell").

Demon Pact were a four-piece Heavy Metal band (regarded as belonging to the NWOBHM) from the Bromley & Hayes area, Kent, on the edge of south-east London. The band on these recordings consisted of brothers Richard Dickerson (lead guitar) and Alan Dickerson (bass guitar), with Donald Meckiffe on vocals and Iain Finlay on drums. The performances on this single have for many years been regarded as one of the best examples of early 1980s Heavy Metal, very professionally recorded but retaining the raw, driving edge which makes a great Metal band.
As this copy is brand new, from the original 1981 pressing, it does not suffer from the usual defect of having a split picture cover on the bottom or top (or both) edge. The record will be shipped in a plain white sleeve along with the picture cover, so the cover reaches the buyer in perfect condition.
