Japan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra Recorded in June, July-1981 at Narashino Bunka Hall, JAPAN
Akeo Watanabe made the first complete set of recordings of Sibelius' symphonies in stereophonic sound with the Japan Philharmonic from 1960 to 1962 for the Nippon Columbia Company. He re-recorded the Sibelius symphony cycle in digital sound with the same orchestra in 1981 for Denon (this box). DENON OX-7225/9-ND (5LP, STEREO) !!! GREAT PERFORMANCE AND GREAT SOUND !!! BOOKLET IS INCLUDED.
ORIGINAL BLUE INNER SLEEVES ARE INCLUDED. OBI IS INCLUDED AND HAS TWO TEARS, SEE LAST PICTURE.
