Description
DEPECHE MODE - A Broken Frame 12" Tape One acetate (1982)
- This is a mix testing acetate on Tape One. It contains sets of duplicate 30 second excerpts from "A Broken Frame". Each excerpt is played twice, with slightly different mixes.
- Blank Tape One beige labels with A and B written in black marker. Labels both contain the cat. number 01-580 0444.
- Disc comes in a Tape One Company Sleeve and original anti-static inner sleeve.
- Tape One sleeve is in very good condition. A couple of minor bends and creases and slight grubbying around the edges, as to be expected for a sleeve of this age (see pictures).
- As acetates can degrade with play, we have not played it fully (merely checked a few seconds each side to check it is Depeche Mode) so grading is on a visual basis only. The surfaces look near mint (for an acetate I would even say a very nice near mint!). There are no scratches, the only marks are extremely minor and are pretty much unavoidable with acetate anyway. The few seconds of play sounded absolutely fine, no crackles.
A very rare find indeed! An absolute must for any serious collector.
