Description
Hello there, and thankyoufor viewing my item!
Having had rather a lengthy hiatus, I'm back to sell more of my collection/ 2nd copies/ records I think might be of interest to others. In previous years I've sold very rare PROG, 60s, PUNK etc, ranging from cheap record right up to £1000 records, and have invariably got good feedback. However, having been away from selling for so long I realise I need to build up current positive feedback again, hence I'm listing many items at buy it now prices, please check out my current, and coming here at my other items! Or to get the heads up on my listings before others even add me to your favourites list!
Here we have an original 1st A1X/B1 UK pressing of DEPECHE MODE'S 1987 LP, MUSIC FOR THE MASSES on Mute Records (STUMM 47). This is a first pressing with embossed and textured sleeve, and A1X/B1 matrices. Not only that, but this one still has the original history of Mute Records "MUTE/ DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE" insert that some of the very first copies had included!
LABELS: VG+, Some light spindle trails, visible when angled into strong halogen light, light handling, great apart from that.
VINYL: VG+, It has definitely been played, but cared for, some light marks, but nothing significant/feelable or deep, sounds great.
SLEEVE: VG+, A bit of handling/shelf-wear, a nick on the opening mouth (please see photos), is the most significant thing, slight wear to the corners, and spine, but still fully legible! A decent copy!
INNER SLEEVE: VG+, very nice and clean, no wear-throughs, pretty crisp, but for a few small finger-prints
INSERT: EX, looks like it's barely been out of the sleeve, if even the previous owner was aware of it's presence! Slight corner turns, where perhaps the record inner sleeve has caught it on being re-put inside the sleeve. really nice!
