Liberation Records in Australia released this official blue vinyl collector's edition, as licensee for Mute Records UK.

This is a 'WHITE LABEL PROMO' copy.
Pressed & issued before commercial release of the single and made available 'On-Loan' to professional DJ's/Members of Entertainment Industry only.
Professional use of this pressing is verified in print on the record label.



QUICK STORY

A very regretful sale, up for auction is one of the crowning jewels of my record collection - and a very rare find.
As a Professional Sydney DJ - well known for promotion and performance in Alternative/Goth/New Wave/Industrial/Metal Clubs in Sydney for nearly 20 years, the day has come where I must cull my lovingly collected, rare/hard-to-find and carefully kept vinyl works - this item being one of the first and finest.
This particular item is currently not available for sale anywhere else worldwide (I could be wrong - but Ive searched & searched for quite a while now...)
Record and collectables stores do advertise they've had it for sale/auction (last I can find is around a year ago - searching many online stores - worldwide)
At the moment though, there only seem to be 'wait-lists' whereby one can only sign-up for, and wait...if wanting to purchase their own a copy, with many of these stores.

This is a 'WHITE LABEL PROMO' copy.
Professional industry standard 'WLP' issue; plain white, thick, 250gsm cardboard.
No artwork/artist information is printed on sleeves of this kind of pressing .
It also has some light ringwear and creasing/scuffing marks - but has no splits and intact.
Inner sleeve is made from high quality plastic polyethylene.

**RECORD CONDITION/ DESCRIPTION:


Appearnce is excellent*. Very clean playing surface*, (played 4 times total).
Superior playback experience.
Label has No Spindle Marks.
This record has been safely housed, standing on its edge in my various dark, airconditoned, smoke-free home studios for last almost 2 decades, and rarely - if ever played.

*Cosmetic Flaw/Scuff Mark:

There is a very light 'curved' scuff mark - approx 10.5cm long, on the outside edge of SIDE B. It can be seen in some reflected light, but not others.
The scuff mark is of COSMETIC nature only, and DOES NOT AFFECT PLAYBACK/enjoyment of this record or it's sound.

*IMPORTANT NOTE:
In the interest of providing an accurate, non-biased evaluation of this record, I brought it to a reputable Sydney based Anologue Hi-Fi Sound/Vinyl Record specialists (CLASSIC HI-FI, 550 King St, Newtown, NSW-2042)  - to have it cleaned, test it's playback, and ask for an expert assessment a few days ago. I was relieved (although not surprised) to hear/see their appraisal of the scuff mark and the record in general - is one of a near perfect copy. Still in fine condition, with no damage whatsoever to sound.
The scuff mark is only of a superficial/cosmetic significance - and *not* a scratch.
In my opinion this copy of the record rates closer to Excellent condition (cosmetic scuff mark on the outside edge of SIDE B aside).
However I must adhere to the technical grading recognized internationally (which also falls in line with advice from experts at 'CLASSIC HI-FI' in Sydney) and class the condition as VGC+ (Very Good Condition Plus) - the most accurate condition report of this record - due to sign of a cosmetic flaw/wear.

Given its current market value/rarity, and in interests of complete transparency - I've used a variety resources in attempt to give the best and most accurate information possible regarding discription of this item. If you feel there may be any errors or discrepancies, I encourage you to let me know.
