Cover

There are several marks (please see photo), scratches and smudges (including fingerprints), some ringwear (front and back). There are creases near the seams (top and bottom) and spine. There is a crease bottom right on the front. The most serious crease is seen bottom left on the front (please see photo), and bottom right on the rear. There is wear to the spine (though the title and cat # are still quite legible). Bottom has shelfwear and the beginning of a seam split (please see photo). Top is O.K. There is wear to the corners, opening is O.K. The cover is unfortunately also missing the "Platte in farbigen Vinyl" sticker. Cover still retains some shine and is functional but, all in all, is very much USED as described above. I would grade the cover as Fair  - or as somewhere between Fair and Good.

Booklet is included, but has wear, mainly long the places where it is folded, especially along the centre fold. There is some wear to the corners, some creasing and staining. Is acceptable, but very much USED, so I would rate the booklet as Fair. 

Bonus flyer for AQOL - some light creasing, but fine - flyer in Good condition.

Vinyl

First impressions are that it looks to be in excellent condition. There is a very (!) tiny tear near the centre hole of the label of Side One. There do not appear to be any visible spindle marks on the labels on either side. However, when the record is carefully examined under bright light, several faint scratches and scuff marks can be seen on the vinyl itself. This indicates that the record has been played before, but such light scratches are not uncommon with these pressings, which almost always play with superb sound (I will get to the audio grading of the record shortly.) There is also an extremely slight warp in the record which is hardly noticeable (is only glimpsed once the record is playing on the turntable) - but this does NOT affect play in any way that I can tell. 

Side 1

'A Question Of Lust' has light surface noise at the start and occasionally in places as the song develops. This is largely not noticeable through the rest of the song though once the vocal section is reached. It plays fine, with traces of light surface noise and more light-to-moderate surface noise at the end of the song and the start of  'Christmas Island'. The latter track has a little more wear perhaps with light-to-moderate surface noise at the end again but, generally, all O.K. Since there are no noticeable flaws - no loud clicks or 'pops' or anything especially distracting that I could pick up - I would grade Side One overall as at least VG++/ EX.

Side 2

'If You Want' has some clicks - mostly soft - and occasional light-to-moderate surface noise and some light 'pops' but plays well. Nothing too distracting on this or any of the other songs. 'Shame' has some light crackle at the start and in other places. There are light touches of static and crackle elsewhere perhaps, but nothing that I could hear on 'Blasphemous Rumours' which probably plays the best on this side. Overall, I would say that Side 2 has been played more often than the first side, but generally plays a solid VG++/ EX despite minor flaws.  

This release is one of the hardest coloured vinyl 12"s to find!

With this copy: the VINYL is EXCELLENT with minor flaws, and the COVER is very much USED.
