One of the harder numbers to find in the series and now getting almost impossible to find in this condition, here's a stunning original 1968 UK first issue copy of this classic Teddy Randazzo produced pairing from DEREK MARTIN with "SHY GIRL" on the UK STAX imprint # 601039 and backed with the intended plug side, "SOUL POWER". It has a release date stamp on the A side which would indicate this to be an advance demo copy as was normal procedure for this label at the time.
This copy plays superbly throughout with top audible quality and remains in mint minus condition with light surface sleeve rubs not affecting play and with minimal crackle on the run-in and run-out groove. It has the 3-prong centre intact and the labels are very clean on both sides with just the odd minor blemish and with minimal spindle wear. Paired with a plain white paper sleeve making this a top copy for the DJ or collector (see picture scans).
The record has been play graded and is from my personal collection that I'm downsizing so why not check out my other listings for more great sounds.
