DESERTED FEAR sind derzeit wohl die heißeste Death Metal Band aus deutschen Landen und haben sich mit ihren zwei Alben 'My Empire' (2012) und 'Kingdom Of Worms' (2014) sowie als echte Livemacht einen Top-Newcomer-Status aufgebaut. Als erstes Opus beim neuen Label Century Media Records steht nun 'Dead Shores Rising' in den Startlöchern, welches skandinavische Melodien ähnlich At The Gates, Edge Of Sanity ebenso in petto hat wie die gnadenlose Bolt-Thrower-Walze und saubere US-Technik à la Death. Die sympathischen und herrlich selbstironischen Burschen aus Thüringen wissen wie man Todesstahl auf internationalem Niveau komponieren und inszenieren muss, schnappten sich erneut Dan Swanö (Witherscape / ex-Bloodbath) für Mix und Mastering und sind prädestiniert dafür, 2017 vollends durchzustarten. An der Formatfront locken speziell das Special Edition CD Digipak inklusive Patch und zwei Bonustracks ('The Path Of Sorrow' bietet on top noch Gastgesang von Tomas Lindberg/At The Gates) sowie die im 180 Gramm schweren, schwarzen Vinyl gepresste LP, die neben einem todschicken Gatefold-Sleeve ein großformatiges Poster sowie ein Booklet in LP-Größe bietet.
