Description
LP titled 'Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!' - by Devo.
' Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! is the debut studio album by the American new wave band Devo. It was originally released in August 1978, on the labels Warner Brothers and Virgin. Produced by Brian Eno, the album was recorded over a period of four months between October 1977 and February 1978, primarily in Cologne, Germany.
This is the original 1978 Australian release as distributed by WEA Records - BSK 3239.
'Cover' is in 'Very Good Plus (VG+)' condition : Spine retains its shape with some creasing and scuffs. Corners are lightly rounded with some denting. Front and Back covers have bright colour, light ring wear, light scuffing & some small creases along the edges. Front cover has faint marker residue at top right, a 1 cm tear on bottom right side and a 0.5 cm tear on bottom left edge. Back cover has a crease across the bottom right corner. Still displays very nicely. The original insert is included, it has light ring wear, some small creases along the edges and a crease on the bottom right corner. I have included and additional bonus insert from the 'Freedom of Choice' LP, it has light ring wear, some small creases and some flocking.
'Record' is in 'Excellent (Ex)' condition : no skips - no jumps - no clicks - no pops - strong sound - plays and sounds great - minimal to no surface noise - just light crackle in the dead wax between tracks, in the quietest passages and at the start of each side - glossy vinyl with a few light scuff & sleeve marks. Labels are very clean, have good colour and no writing.
Overall a great playing copy of this record - a well cared for original LP with minimal to no surface noise - just light crackle in the dead wax between tracks, in the quietest passages and at the start of each side.

Record Grading Guide (all of my LPs are play graded before listing - I play and listen to both sides in full)
Near Mint (NM) Record in like new condition with no surface marks and no deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any inclusions like lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Near Mint - (NM-) Record and cover are slightly below the NM grade with only one imperfection but generally flawless.
Excellent (Ex) Record may have sleeve marks from being pulled in and out of a cover but these marks will only be visible under a bright light. Generally will play through like a NM- with minimal to no surface noise. Cover may have light storage wear, light creasing, light edge wear but nothing distracting or major.
Very Good + (VG+) Record will have visible scuffs or light scratches which are not deep enough to deteriorate sound quality. VG+ records may have slight surface noise only noticeable in quiet passages of music or at the beginning of the record or between tracks. This slight surface noise will not overwhelm the listening experience. Cover may have general storage wear, creasing, ring wear, edge wear.
Very Good (VG) Record will have many visible hairline scuffs or scratches, but will play with a tolerable amount of low level surface noise throughout. A great play copy but the record has clearly been played many times. Cover may have heavier storage wear than normal, with splits, creasing, ring wear, edge wear, writing, stains, sticker residue or some discolouration.
Good (G) not applicable - I do not own or list any records with intolerable surface noise, noticeably deteriorated sound or with skips or jumps.
