Description

Rare DEVO LP, Live in Cleveland, 1977, No Reserve. This rare vintage Devo Lp "The Year After (1984)", was recorded live in Cleveland at the WHK Auditorium on December 3, 1977, and released the next year. Apparently there are less than 800 of these in existence, probably much less. This LP captures a classic live Devo performance from the spud-boys at the top of their pre-Warner Brothers game. Great performances of: "Intro", "Blockhead", "Mongoloid", "Smart Patrol/Mr. DNA", "Gut Feeling", "Slap Your Mammy", "Sloppy", "Come Back Jonee", "Satisfaction", "Soo Bawls", Uncontrollable Urge", and "Words Get Stuck in My Throat". These recordings appear nowhere else (not even on "Devo Live - The Mongoloid Years"). And the recording quality is very good - the show was recorded from the mixing console on a high-quality reel-to-reel machine. Unopened/unplayed vinyl.
