This is the circa 1973/78, “VAN GELDER” stamped pressing of DEXTER GORDON’s “A Swingin’ Affair” on the “United Artists” labels of Blue Note BST 84133.
VINYL has Excellent gloss. Plays clean and quiet. Super dynamic. No distortion. No skips. Clean and powerful music signal throughout. Occasional pop or tick, none consistent. All analog Rudy Van Gelder sound that you only get with a pre-1979 pressing. The labels are clean with some small writing. See photos.
JACKET is in good shape, corners worn. Much ringwear. Cut-out hole. Seams and spine SOLID but worn. Back jacket CLEAN. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
