Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


One of the undisputed crown jewels in my Blue Note collection, a WILDLY RARE original Rudy Van Gelder mastered Blue Note BLP 4112 in MONO from 1962 with Plastylite ear, West 61st St., New York address on the rear cover at the bottom, NEW YORK USA address on the labels and laminated front cover!!!  LP is VG+ with a few small light scuffs and cover is VG/VG+ with a small ding on the bottom corners and some light glue oxidation near the spine on the rear.  Edges are spectacular with NO splits and NO seams!!!  Incredibly hard to find a first mono pressing of this iconic Blue Note classic in this condition so don't sleep.
