Description
For auction is "The Resurgence of DEXTER GORDON," on Jazzland JLP 29, MONO, DG, 1960.
SOUND: VG+ or better
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall, a brilliant listen with sharp, clean sound. Side A is a pure delight, with no reservations. Side B is almost as good, but B2, "Jodi," is bothered by a handful of soft tics, as well as a bit of faint surface noise. None of it is particularly bad, and it certainly does not overpower the music. Aside from this one cut, the record would be solid NM.
VINYL: VG+
Visually, the vinyl looks beautiful. So much so, I was surprised by the surface noise in B2, described above. Upon inspection under bright light, I could identify 2 faint hairline marks in that area, but they are not feel-able, and appear superficial. Beyond that, there are a few tiny smudged areas on side A. That's it...
JACKET: NM-
The jacket is outstanding. The edges and spine are straight and solid, with practically no wear. The corners are almost sharp, with very minimal wear. The front and back covers are very clean and unmarked, with minimal aging.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
