Description
Here we have a great find for classical music lovers. From going through my late fathers classical record collection came accross lot's of Deutsche Grammophon labled LP's of Herbert von Karajan with the Berlin Phiharmonic Orchestra. Then came accross this rare, special limited edition individually numbered of 2000. This copy bears the number 304 handwritten and hand signed by Herbert von Karajan himself twice. Once on the perspex cover over the box set which is unfortunately cracked and once on the certificate bearing the number 304. Other than the perspex cover everything is in near mint condition, including nine LP records, one with a picture shown in photo, a full gloss booklet, poster of Karajan and the limited edition signed certificate and in a mint condition a box that is gold in colour.
Title of this box set is Beethoven 9 Symphonies Karajan. Recorded in the Berlin Philharmonic Hall for the Beethoven Year 1977. There were only 2000 copies of this edition were prepared especially for Britain that were signed.Made in west germany.
My father was one of the lucky one's.
