Description

Scarce 1956 set, original mono, Jochum leads the BRSO in Beethoven's 9th. One of the finest Beethoven 9ths on record.
Issued as two discs, unusual format, the first of which is 10". Both fit into the special stitched gatefold jacket of the period, which does have some predictable wear (see photo). Vinyl is NM. Original Alle hersteller labels for this era. These have been cleaned in VPI machine.
I'm happy to combine for saved shipping costs.
