Description

I've had some problems with these records and can't seem to get them playing as they should. There are a few hairlines and blotches in the vinyl but all sides play through nicely enough albeit with some static/dust related ticks. I think they could do with a deep clean and only someone who has access to (or owns ) a vinyl cleaning machine should be interested. The unlaminated sleeves are becoming worn and both have minor but possibly fixable tears in the spines of the gatefolds as can be seen in the pictures.The double flap stitched-in polythene inners are still fine. 

  • The Haydn symphony has an obvious mark about 1 cm at the end of band one at 6-30 but this has no impact on the playback. It has a degree of tickiness, especially at the beginning, but still rates the best side of the four for audio.
  • visually the vinyl would rate VG+ but for audio only VG with potential to sound better with a good clean.
  • sleeves VG- at best.
