NM FLAT EDGE  LP's / NM BOX and NM July '61 Libretto

I think flat edge ceased being pressed at DGG around October 1961, so there aren't too many of these around.....(based on 2 items I will list next week , a flat edge from 9/61, and a raised lip from 11/61, which sort of defines the cutover month..

POSTAGE IS QUOTED PACKED TO 2000GM, BUT THERE WILL BE ROOM FOR POSTING 1 EXTRA lp IN THE PACK FOR FREE POST, OUR WEIGHT INCREMENTS ARE PER 500GMS, AND THIS IS GOING TO PACK AT ABOUT 1750GMS.

ALSO after the 1st 2kg in a pack from OZ the extra weight added is at HALF the price per kg.  I regularly send packs to ASIA upto 10KG and the post cost using that discounted rate to advantage comes down to as little as 3GBP per LP anywhere in the ASIA zone.  WORTH CONSIDERING.....

Unmarked Box had a loose RED STEREO sticker inside although there is no glue residue anywhere on the box.

THIS is very clean,ONE repetetive tic in opening overture of side 1, you are listening to the affected section now, and comes on in the quietest music sections of the overture.

NO Paper scuffs visible in Sunlight. Photo's  taken in full sunlight and flash, and nothing visible to me or the camera. Only a few of the softest pips generally on these lp's. RECORD 2 and 3 have possibly never been played as they were spotless out of their unmarked dust jackets and had no dust where as record one had some dust on it, and the dust cover has just a few more wrinkles in compared to the other 2.

All pressed in the early 1960's and FLAT EDGES (NOT RAISED LIP which were post 1962 I Think) and weighed at 160 gms per LP , Recorded Sept 1960, and Libretto has print date inside back cover July 1961.  I have seen 2 later "Made in Germany" label  editions and the libretto has no print date and this one has 4 extra full color lithographs interspersed through the book the later ones DO NOT HAVE  (See photo's 6,7,8,and 9)

Also  different dust jacket wording, These have "Please Observe" which i have ONLY seen on pre 1962 other editions (Instead of "Dear Record Collector")

LP CONDITION Near Mint  SEE Photo's,Can't even find any  faint spider web scuffs even in sunlight, Other than opening Overture tic as per sound sample, play test has only infrequent pips and tics as per normal vinyl replay BEAUTIFUL, AND THE DYNAMICS ARE GREAT

YES post to Europe and UK by air is very expensive  (and definitely more than 4.50 gbp)

SOUND SAMPLE GUIDE First 2 minutes is of opening side 1, where the light tic is, then I trfr to the side 6 (still record 1) at 2 minutes 15 seconds, WHICH IS THE REMAINDER OF THE 6 MINUTE 47 seconds SAMPLE IN TOTAL.

BE aware the sound sample talked about IS A LOW SAMPLE RATE AND accentuates treble (Hence more static crackle that you DON'T hear through your Hi Fi) and is low quality, but you get the idea.
