Description

This rare and collectible LP features the iconic conductor VON KARAJAN leading the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in a stunning rendition of Shostakovich's Symphony No. 10. The record was released in Germany in 1960 on the prestigious DG Deutsche Grammophon label, as part of their Symphonic Brotherhood series. This particular copy is a first pressing with the coveted "German Tulips" label design, and is in near mint condition.


The LP itself is 12" and plays at 33 RPM, with excellent sound quality. The record sleeve is also in excellent condition, with no signs of wear or damage. This is a must-have addition to any serious classical music collection, and comes with the original cover.
