One of my faves here. It seems people are waking up at last to the groovy sounds of Dia Prometido. They were a duo comprised of two guys: one from Iran and another from Chile., both members of the Bahai faith. They recorded in Spain a bunch of albums and 45s. Here's their best one, "El ruiseñor Persa", a terrific mix of Persian sounds with psychedelic funk featuring fuzz guitar and percussion breaks. From 1972 on Philips.
