DIAMOND HEAD - LIGHTNING TO THE NATIONS (THE WHITE ALBUM) - 12" LP
This is the original self-financed release of "Lightning to the Nations" (AKA "The White Album). The cover is signed (ORIGINAL SIGNATURES OBTAINED AT A GIG) by all members of the band and has become a legendary heavy metal collector's piece as only 1000 copies were ever released with a white label and white cover (plain plastic inner) and pressed from the original Metal Master disc hence AKA "The White Album". The original master recordings went missing in Germany later on at Wolfe Recordings. .
I bought it new at a gig and has been part of my collection since then. This is a genuine sale as I have submitted all of my music to MP3 and it's the music that is important to me as opposed to the physical ownership of the item.
The condition of the record in near mint and only played it a handful of times due to the fact that I taped it close to purchase in order to listen to the music and keep the LP as a memento.
It comes in its ORIGINAL top opening sleeve with no tears, corner creases but does have a slight water stain in the corner. The top lip does show signs of minor creasing. NOTE: The image IS NOT a picture of the sale item - actual pictures of the sale item available on request.
I have checked the condition of the vinyl and it is free of warps, chips and scratches. I have played it before listing (in order to record it) and it plays well throughout. it is in excellent condition.
