Description
Offered for sale is a set of five 7" vinyl singles by Diana Ross & The Supremes all on the Tamla Motown record label. They are as follows:
You Can't Hurry Love / Put Yourself In My Place. (This is credited to The Supremes - the other four are all Diana Ross and The Supremes). Catalogue number TMG 575 There are a few light surface marks and scratches but nothing that affects play. The A side label has some initial in pen but the labels are otherwise generally clean, with minor spindle marks.
Reflections / Going Down for the Third Time. Catalogue number TMG 616. Again, there are a fair few surface marks and light scratches but nothing that affects play. The A side label has a small sticker and what looks like the remains of a sticker on it. The B side label has some light spindle marks but both are ok overall.
I'm Gonna Make You Love Me / A Place In The Sun (both with The Temptations. Catalogue number TMG 685. This record has a solid centre rather than a push-out centre which all the others have. Again, there are some light surface marks and scratches, but again both sides play through with no problems. The label on Side B is a bit worn, there is a small tear mark just by the artists' names - please see the pictures for a clear view of this.
Some Things You Never Get Used To / You've Been So Wonderful To Me. Catalogue number TMG 662. Again, there is a red sticker and possibly the remains of a sticker to the A side label. They vinyl has probably the least surface marks of the lot, and again plays fine.
I'm Livin' In Shame / I'm So Glad I Got Somebody (Like You Around). Catalogue number TMG 695. This has 2 stickers to the A side label, but other than that this is possibly in the best condition of the lot, with minor surface marks to the vinyl and minor spindle marks to the labels.
All records are housed in original 1970s Motown company sleeves. These are not immaculate (the sleeve for You Can't Hurry Love has a small name written along the top edge of the back), and a couple of them have small split along the right hand edge, but they are in acceptable condition for their age.
All in all, this is a nice set of records with plenty of life left in them for a fan.
