DIAS DE BLUES
Ultra rare 1973 Uruguayan original (much harder to find than the Argentinian release and the Uruguayan release has different and, arguably, better artwork) of this great heavy psych LP with lots of excellent guitar work. Not a great copy and I wouldn’t normally list a record in this condition but as an ultra rarity it’s a worthy artifact and, for the most part, plays pretty well. Featured on page 105 of Hans Pokora’s 2001 Record Collector Dreams where he gives it a 4 disc rarity rating. Check out the sound clip recorded from this copy.

- Year: 1973
- Condition Disc: Poor Covered in light hairlines and there are a few heavy marks. Side 2 is the better and plays through fine with obvious surface noise and a single quick skip. Side 1 has a small cluster of feelable marks which cause the needle to stick in a couple of places on the 2 short tracks. The first and last tracks are long heavy guitar workouts and play though OK with surface noise. Judge for yourself by listening to the entire LP, except for the 2 tracks which stick, recorded from this copy.
- Condition Cover: Good The extremely fragile thin matt flipback cover has survived remarkably well considering the abuse the record received. A little light creasing and 3 or 4 short horizontal tears at the opening edge. Tape residue on the edges. Other than that it’s pretty good - all artwork and text is crisp and clear and there’s no writing. All edges sharp and solid, probably saved by the tape that has now fallen away. Decent enough cover – could even be an upgrade for someone with a decent record.
- Comments: Fair copy of an extremely rare and superb heavy psych record from South America.
