Description
"At Ease" radio show transcription disc produced by The Armed Forces Radio Service. Two complete 15 minute radio programs on this 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm disc. This disc was issued to radio stations for U. S. troops overseas during the World War Two era and not available to the general public, very rare!
"At Ease" radio program #183 featuring music by Allen Roth & His Orchestra with vocals by Helen Forrest & Eddie Dean with piano by Carmen Cavallaro. Songs include "Say It With Music", "Laura" Carmen Cavallaro piano, "A Little n The Lonely Side" vocal Helen Forrest, "Am I Blue", "When It's Springtime In The Rockies" vocal Eddie Dean & chorus, "Together". 15 minutes
"At Ease" radio program #184 with music by Ray Bloch & His Orchestra and vocals by Dick Haymes with Eddie Heywood on piano. Songs include "Let Me Love You Tonight", "Stars Fell On Alabama" vocal Dick Haymes, "Begin The Beguine" with Eddie Heywood on piano, "Calypso Joe", "I'll See You Again". 15 minutes
Disc is circa 1940's. Programs were meant to be broadcast to servicemen overseas, Excellent World War Two Era nostalgic broadcasts!
Disc is in Excellent Condition with Excellent Sound
Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables. For $10 I can make a CD dub of the disc for the buyer only
