This is the only record to be released on the Vienna based tapelabel Dum Dum Records who put out the "May I have a record contract" sampler series who featuerd experimental Post Punk and Minimal Synth stuff from bands such as Viele Bunte Autos, Die Seltsame Sekretärin, Außer Atem, Flamingo etc. before turning into a regular Dance label in the Mid-1980ies
"Fred ist wieder da!" is sort of a "Fred vom Jupiter"-parody aimed at the Autrian social democrat Fred Sinowatz and as far as I know legendary NDW parodist Xao Seffcheque (Family 5, O.R.A.V.s, Blässe, Xao Seffcheque & Der Rest) was involved

Vinyl: some very slight surface marks that don't affect playing … m-
