Description
This is a fine original mono U.S. pressing copy of the debut LP by the Dillards, released in 1963. Led by brothers Rodney and Doug Dillard, the group played bluegrass and folk music with instrumental virtuosity and not a little humor (in particular live). Their debut mixes group compositions with covers of traditional tunes like "Old Man at the Mill," "Reuben's Train," and (inevitably) "Deulin' Banjo." The laminated jacket is close to pristine (M-). There is a small price sticker on the back cover. The disc has some fingerprints, scraping, and scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise and occasional crackling (EX-). The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
