Returning six years on from 2019's Celebrity Mansions and marking their longest gap between albums to date, Leeds homegrown alt rock royalty Dinosaur Pile-Up make their highly anticipated comeback with fifth full-length I've Felt Better. A collective summarisation of the general state of the human spirit in 2025, the project is largely inspired by the 2020 pandemic that stopped the trio (and rest of the world) in its tracks, whilst delving into the health issues of primary songwriter Matt Bigland, even observing the fact that out of the six people in the ward the second time Bigland admitted himself to hospital, only three would make it out alive. Life, big and small, our tribulations, grandiose and petty, all come to be examined here with reliably, 90s-indebted crunching riffage and mega hooks like only the lads know how to deliver.
