Description

TITLE/INFO: I'll be listing more old and rare 45's over these next few weeks/months, as well as more early '50's-'60's EP's and LP's, so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. This is the early 60's hit record ("Runaround Sue"), with it's original picture sleeve, by Dionand it also comes with it's follow up answer song ("Stay At Home Sue") by Linda Laurie - and both are from back in 1961. Both records and the attractive picture sleeve are pictured above, as well as the B-sides of both records, so please check out all those pictures. In my opinion, both 45s are in excellent to near mint condition, and the picture sleeve is primarily very nice too - but please read on and check it all out. LABEL INFO: Dion's original song on the Laurie Records label (3110) is in extremely nice shape with no flaws at all. The Linda Laurie  answer song on the rather obscure Rust label (5042) is also in great condition. Neither 45 has any spindle lines around the center circles which, when combined with their excellent vinyl condition, leads me to believe they had very light play. VINYL INFO: Likewise, both vinyl's are also super shiny, clean and, in my opinion, close to perfect. Linda Laurie's answer song has just a bit of totally harmless and completely uneventful "paper lines" in a couple of places, but nothing too serious at all, believe me. PICTURE SLEEVE: The rare and hard to find picture sleeve is mostly quite nice, but there is some light ring wear on either side, as well as some of the usual light "wrinkling/creasing along the very top open seam. Otherwise though, it appears to be just fine. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this hit single, the original picture sleeve, as well as the follow up answer song, are all in very good to near mint shape and, as always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!  If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (1st Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation) for this 45 package, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $20.00 for this package and then just $3.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records  that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come!
