PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP
RARE original Robert Ludwig mastered Specialty first pressing from May of 1985 on Warner Brothers with EAST embossed around the center hole on side 2, glossy printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics and NO Sting writing or publishing credit!!! First pressings were conspicuously absent of hype stickers as later pressings were slathered with them once the hits just kept on comin'. LP is a gorgeous near mint minus. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap. Even has the original Discount Records (R.I.P.) price label on the cellophane in the top left hand corner on the front cover and $6.99 sale price sticker in the top right hand corner. A high grade first pressing with impeccable provenance. THIS is what collecting is about.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
