Don't miss this opportunity to own one of the finest 1982 CLASSIC POP ROCK Albums of all time.
Love Over Gold is the fourth album by British rock band Dire Straits, released on 20 September 1982 by Vertigo Records internationally, and by Warner Bros. Records in the United States. The album produced two singles: "Private Investigations", which reached the number 2 position on the UK Singles Chart, and "Industrial Disease", which reached the number 9 position on Billboard's Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks in the United States.
Several songs were written and recorded during the Love Over Gold session that were not released on the album. "Private Dancer" was originally planned for the album, with all but the vocal tracks being recorded. Knopfler decided that a female voice would be more appropriate and handed the song to Tina Turner for her comeback album, Private Dancer.

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS , PLEASE ASK ME , YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED
All records are professionally cleaned using a MOTH cleaning system prior to despatch. Not only does this wet clean/vacuuming process remove surface marks such as fingerprints, etc, it also significantly reduces background noise and many argue that the lower noise floor results in opening up of the sound and improved fidelity.
A word about hairline marks. It is almost impossible to find any non-sealed record without any hairline marks - many had them from new, particularly if sold with cardboard inner sleeves. They are a result of storage and use and have little impact on sound quality.
I package my records in the strongest purpose made mailers for maximum safety.
All records are removed from their picture sleeves where appropriate and posted in a separate plain white inner to avoid damage during transit.
LEAVING FEEDBACK and UNDERSTANDING DSR SCORES:
I always strive to provide a 5-star service to my customers by stating my policies upfront, answering questions quickly, sending packages daily, and charging *realistic* safe shipping! In eBay's new feedback system, when you give 4 stars it may seem like a great score. For instance, a 4 in Shipping Time means "Quickly". Ebay, however, considers this a sub-par mark. Their standards require sellers to maintain 4.8 & above, or be penalized with higher fees and lower standing in search results. If you are satisfied with the transaction upon receipt of your item, please don't hesitate to respond with all 5 stars! If you are not pleased, simply contact me and I will work hard to make sure you achieve 100% satisfaction.
If you do need me to consider an issue please take care not to open a case in the resolution centre on ebay before you have contacted me.
Ebay actively encourages members to try to resolve issues together without their involvement.
