DIRE STRAITS 

"On Every Street"

Vertigo Records (Canada) 510 160-1


This rare 1991 LP is an original Canadian first pressing (A/B) on the Vertigo label that was pressed by Cinram using premium audiophile vinyl. The vinyl becomes translucent when placed between a bright light and your eye. The special vinyl compound allows a quieter (black) background allowing the music to be heard more clearly. My import (Holland) copy of this title uses standard opaque vinyl. The album was issued with a custom inner sleeve which has the lyrics. This Canadian pressing has stock Vertigo "V" labels. 

The jacket is in near mint condition. There are no delete marks, no creases and no bent corners. There is some barely perceptible wear on the top seam and spine. The bottom seam has no sign of shelf or storage wear. The inner sleeve is in excellent plus to near mint condition with only a slight crease to keep it from perfection. The corners of the inner sleeve are square and there is no splitting. The disc was placed in a clear plastic inner sleeve since the album was opened. 

The disc is in near mint to mint condition. There are no visible hairlines, no scuff marks or defects in the vinyl and appears to have never been played. The labels are in near mint to mint condition and have no spindle marks or other marks.

The disc has been cleaned on a VPI 17F record cleaning machine. A new and thicker clear inner sleeve will be provided as well as a new clear outer sleeve.
