This is AN ORIGINAL 1982 WARNER BROS. RECORDS U.S. QUIEX II VINYL LIMITED EDITION PRESS PROMO LP titled 'Love Over Gold' from Mark Knopfler's great band Dire Straits.  It is Warner Bros. Records U.S. catalog number 1-23728, with Quiex II promo sticker and gold promo stamp on the front cover.  Record comes packaged inside the cover in its original custom inner sleeve with song lyrics and album credits.
THIS ALBUM CAME FROM A LARGE COLLECTION I PURCHASED AWHILE AGO FROM A LONGTIME WARNER / ELEKTRA ASYLUM PROMOTION MAN WHO WORKED IN THE LOS ANGELES WEA OFFICES - I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS RECORD HAS EVER BEEN PLAYED.
