MARION BARTOO / TIM MORGON: Dirty Feet - Fink Records  (1007-LP mono)

Original 1965 soundtrack LP for this Southern California beach flick filmed in Balboaand featuring an interesting cornucopia of Greek-flavored folk surf music.  You wouldn't think it would work, but it does.  Decent listening copy of this scarce LP.

Check out a couple of the more surfy tracks here:

CONDITION:

VINYL CONDITION: VG+ (Several scuffs and marks, but nothing deep enough to cause any serious listening problems)

COVER CONDITION: VG to VG+ (scuffs, corner dings, edge wear, toning, name written on front in ball-point pen, the start of a seam split)

Be sure to check our other listings for more scarce and interesting LPs.

Please note that the main image used in our listings may be a partial scan of the front cover of the album, as the entire cover won't fit on our scanner.  Sometimes we'll also scan part of the back cover or another part of the album (inside gatefold, inner sleeves or inserts, LP labels) and combine both images together.

Thanks for checking out our listings.  If you like this one, chances are you'll want to check out our excellent selection of interesting and obscure 80's and 90's indie vinyl and CDs, and a way cool inventory of hand-letterpress printed ephemera (stamps, postcards, etc.) printed by Independent Project Press.   And on top of that, we offer obscure and unusual LPs of many different genres from the 60’s and 70’s in the Spiral Groove section of our store.  We’ve been selling records on ebay since 1999, with an extremely positive feedback rating, so buy with confidence.  Keep checking back, as we’ll be listing more obscure and intriguing music on a periodic basis, and you never know what will surface.

Please be sure to bookmark our ebay store and check back often:

Order fulfillment for all purchases from our ebay store is now being handled by the good folks at TheIdealCopy.com, who also stock loads of great 80's and 90's indie music CDs, with a focus on postpunk sounds.  Be sure to check out their website, and shipping costs for purchases from their website can be combined with purchases from our ebay store, though separate payments will need to be made for each store.

HOW WE GRADE OUR RECORDS:

All records are visually graded first, then we'll spot check 'em on the turntable to make sure there isn't anything particularly problematic that isn't obvious from peering at the grooves.  However, that doesn't mean there might be something we didn't catch -- see return policy below, and know that if something's wrong we'll endeavor to make it right.

Here’s a general description of how we’ve graded the records we offer.  In some cases we may describe a record as being “VG+ to VG++,” or some other combination of grades.  What this means is that it seems like the record either falls between the description of the grades as described below, or one side may be VG+ and the other VG++.  As always, grading is in the eye of the beholder, and we try to grade our offerings in such a way that if we were buying the record and it was graded the way we’ve graded it, that we would be satisfied with how it was graded.

M: Mint (as new). It’s either still sealed, or it’s unsealed and we know for a fact that it has never been played.  Covers will be as new or still sealed in shrink wrap.

NM: Near mint. The record has no marks or visible faults, like new, perhaps played once or twice, and has been very well cared for, with beautiful sheen.  Covers will have no creases, ring wear, or seam splits of any kind.  Perhaps a tiny corner ding or two, but all in all a clean, good quality cover.

VG++ (EX or NM-): Very good plus plus (Excellent or near mint minus). The record shows some sign of having been carefully played, perhaps some light surface scuffing from the inner sleeve, with minimal or no discernable effect on play, and with no significant distractions from the sound.  The record still has nice sheen, and there may be an occasional tick or pop here and there, but in general plays excellent.  Covers will have very minor wear -- no splits or tears, but may have one or two small blemishes or very minor light edge wear or ringwear, or tiny edge creasing and corner dings.

VG+: Very good plus. The record has been played regularly. There may be visual marks and light scratches or lines on the disc that have some effect on play -- crackles on several tracks, or a few more ticks and pops than a VG++ record, or some surface noise in quiet spots or between tracks. Record still has decent sheen, and plays fine for most purposes.  Cover will show a few more signs of wear than VG++.  It may have minor defacing, minor writing, cut-out mark, some ringwear, edge wear or creasing.  May have stickers, small seam splits, or tiny tears or blemishes from the removal or a previous price tag. A solid decent cover.

VG: Very good. The record has been played regularly and is showing signs of wear . May have many visual marks, and surface scratches, thus there may be numerous audible pops and crackles. Beginning to show signs of a lack of original sheen, and groove wear may be evident on sight, with some scratches that may cause repeating ticks or pops.  No skips of serious defects, but most likely will have some surface noise during quiet passages or between songs.  Covers will have multiple flaws, such as very obvious ringwear, heavy creasing, larger seam splits, small tears, and may have stickers and/or writing on the cover.  There may be minor moisture damage or small stains.

VG-. Very good - . The record has been played many times, affecting the sound quality with pops and crackles, due to surface scratches and wear. In general there should be no skips or major flaws, and in most cases we will not list a record that is graded below VG-.  Covers will have multiple flaws, more so than a VG cover -- heavy ringwear or creasing, taped seam splits, tears, and may have stickers and/or writing on the cover.  Heavier moisture damage and staining.  Anything we list that is below a VG- cover will have a full description of flaws.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COSTS:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Please note that unless your package is sent by either Registered Mail or Express Mail there is no way to track your package internationally, and unless you pay for one of these two services, we cannot be responsible for the safe delivery of your package.  Delivery to most countries is rarely a problem, and except for shipments to Italy and Greece (please see notes below for additional information regarding shipments to these two countries) we will not require secure shipping services on smaller purchases.  However, if an item is particularly rare or non-replaceable, or if the total value of your package exceeds $50.00, we may require you to purchase either Registered or Express Mail so that we both have the security of knowing that the package will reach you as intended.  If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact us before making your purchase.

Large orders which exceed the weight limit for First Class Mail International will have to be sent at the International Parcel Post rates, which are higher than those listed below.  If you are thinking about making a large order, please contact us first with a list of the items you are interested in purchasing for a shipping quote.

Customs fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.  We have no way of knowing how much these fees will be in advance, although if you request it we will agree to declare a low value on the customs form.  Please be advised, however, that in the case of loss or damage to any package for which you have asked us to declare a low value on the customs form, any loss that occurs will be your responsibility.

Thank you for your understanding.

ITALY and GREECE

Our apologies to our customers in Italy and Greece, but due to numerous delivery problems we have experienced with shipments to these countries, we now require that all purchases above $20 in value be sent either by Registered Mail or Express Mail, so that the parcel has a tracking number and we have some assurance that it will actually be delivered.  We know that this increases your cost to do business with us, but we have had one too many Paypal chargebacks for merchandise that we have sent and that was not received because it was not Registered or otherwise trackable.  We are no longer willing to accept full responsibility for the failings of the international post, as Paypal makes us do, so until the Universal Postal Union comes up with a more reasonable way to track packages internationally, we must insist upon your covering the cost of secure shipping if you wish to make a purchase from us.  Therefore:

If your total order is under $20.00, then shipping costs will be as follows:

12” & 10” vinyl: Airpost (First Class Mail International) shipping costs will be $16.00.  Add $6.00 for each additional 12" or 10” record purchased at the same time.

7” vinyl and CDs: Airpost (First Class Mail International)  shipping costs will be $8.00.  Add $3.00 for each additional 7” record or CD purchased at the same time.

If your total order is over $20.00, then shipping costs will be as follows:

12” & 10” vinyl: Registered Airpost (First Class Mail International) shipping costs will be $28.00.  Add $6.00 for each additional 12" or 10” record purchased at the same time.  Alternately, Express Mail International shipping costs will be $40.00.  Add $6.00 for each additional 12" or 10” record purchased at the same time.

7” vinyl and CDs: Airpost (First Class Mail International)  shipping costs will be $20.00.  Add $3.00 for each additional 7” record or CD purchased at the same time.  Alternately, Express Mail International shipping costs will be $30.00.  Add $5.00 for each additional 7” record or CD purchased at the same time.

INSURANCE & REGISTRATION:

If you're outside the USA and you wish to have your item insured for full or partial value then let us know and we'll calculate the additional cost, which for international shipments could be substantially more as insured items must be sent at the Parcel Post rate.  Please note that uninsured parcels are sent at the purchaser's risk.

Purchasers outside the USA may also request we send your package by Registered Mail for an additional $12.00 to cover registration fees and additional packing required.

PAYMENT:

Payment by PayPal only. If purchasing more than one item from us, please send us an email confirming which items you are purchasing, along with your mailing address. Quick payment is always appreciated and we're happy to give positive feedback for a smooth transaction. We do appreciate your communicating with us in a timely manner, and we'll endeavor to do the same. However, if we have not heard from you within 1 week we'll send you a reminder email. Any transactions not acknowledged or completed with 3 weeks will be reported to ebay as an unpaid transaction so that we can get our fees refunded.
