Description
"HOOT OWL," HANNA-BARBERA & MIKE CURB ACETATE RECORD
Description: Up for your consideration is mono reference, one-sided 10" acetate 45 RPM disc featuring a song called "Hoot Owl" from the 1966 "Cattanooga Cats" Hanna-Barbera cartoon. The song features a male vocalists and does not appear on the album later released on Forward Records in 1969. This disc predates the cartoon and was probably used by the animators during the initial production. This record comes from the estate of Paul Maher, a former archivist at Hanna-Barbera Studios.
The record includes a custom label and is housed in a vintage paper sleeve. The sleeve has the number 6 written lightly in pencil and may have been some sort of numbering system. I had a few others and they each had a different number written on the sleeve.

Condition: This record is in very good condition. There are several fingerprints and marks, but most of the surface area is non-playing grooves and the back is blank. It has been play- tested and plays all the way through without skipping, but not without some average background noise.
