Very rare original issue of the soundtrack to Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in Very Good Plus condition. Issued in what is essentially a Manila envelope with a tipped-in full color print from the film, even wear with a few creases and edge wear, otherwise bright and crisp colors. 
The three 78 RPM discs have their original stock Victor sleeves in VG++ to NM condition. 78s have a few very light scuffs and a few needle digs, but otherwise excellent condition.  
"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", the soundtrack to the 1937 Walt Disney film, was the first commercially issued film soundtrack. It was released by RCA/Victor Records in January 19, 1938 as "Songs from Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (with the Same Characters and Sound Effects as in the Film of That Title) and has since seen numerous expansions and reissues. 
The soundtrack was first issued as a set of three shellac 78 RPM 10" discs, thus conforming a collection of singles. It contained eight of the eleven songs heard in the picture, as "Bluddle-Uddle-Um-Dum", "Some Day My Prince Will Come (Reprise)" and "One Song (Reprise)" were not included. These recordings were taken directly from the film's track and thus include bits of dialogue and sound effects. With songs from the film written by Frank Churchill, Larry Morey and Leigh Harline, and a musical score composed by Paul J. Smith and Leigh Harline, the album was an immediate hit, thus each of the singles became a Top 10 hit simultaneously in February 1938. 
In these early days, Disney did not have its own music publishing company. All material was contracted out to Irving Berlin, Inc. and starting in 1944 to Bourne, Inc. All the rights to publish the music and songs from this film are actually still controlled by the Bourne Co. In later years, the Studio was able to acquire back the rights to the music from all of the other films, except this one. Prior to "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", a movie soundtrack recording was unheard of and had little value to a movie studio.
