DIZZY REECE "Soundin' Off" Blue Note 4033, DG, P, RVG, Mono Vinyl
This is the first edition, 1960, RVG stamped, Deep Groove, "P" pressing of DIZZY REECE "Soundin' Off" on the "47 West 63rd" labels of Blue Note BLP 4033. Musicians include Dizzy Reece, Walter Bishop Jr., Doug Watkins, Art Taylor.
VINYL plays with consistent low level surface noise. But Instruments are clear, dynamic, powerful. Handful of hairline marks. No feelable marks. No distortion. No groovewear. No warps. Solid gloss both sides. The ""47 West 63rd" labels are clean with minor spindle wear. See photos.
The LAMINATED COVER is in good condition, with some wrinkling at borders. Corners worn. Back jacket shows tape residue and pen writing. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested on a high-end system consisting of Music Hall MMF-7.3 turntable/Ortofon Bronze cartridge, Heed Audio Elixir integrated amplifier, Heed Quasar Phono stage and Quad S2 speakers (with very revealing ribbon tweeters). Record cleaned on VPI 16.5.
