Created to promote the Freeze DVD release, these short mixes emulate the old-school “radio spots” supplied to DJ’s as motion picture advertisements. Shadow produced both spots solely, incorporating dozens of other vintage radio spot 45’s.

Although some copies were sold during Shadow’s 2006 tour, the majority were sold as part of the Freeze/Product Placement Carrying Case bundle exclusive to our store. Only about 300-500 were made.

I purchased this on the 2006 tour, can't believe it was 9 years ago but there it is. 1st time I saw shadow, and by far the best. Great shows since, I just really liked the set he spun that night in particular. I bought a couple of extra copies I never played. I have played my personal copy, and let me say it is really cool and unique. A very cool addition to a serious Shadow collection. Please keep in mind this recording is of RADIO SPOTS promoting the FREEZE tour with DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist, they are not songs. It's what makes this item really unique. ;)
